Plan for a Successful Festive Season with Fulfilment by Amazon

Good timing can make your end-of-year sales, and we want our merchants to have their best festive season ever!  FBA merchants are encouraged to ship their inventory to Amazon early to take advantage of the peak shopping days.

To take advantage of the last order date for free standard shipping Inventory (this day typically falls around the middle of December--customers will place many last minute orders on this date) inventory should ideally be received by Dec. 12.

It is also important to stay IN STOCK during this busy end-of-year period.  We also strongly urge you to comply with the best practices, some of which are set out below for a smooth festive selling season:

• Do not send hazardous materials or unsuitable items
• Prep your shipment carefully: make sure all items and shipments are labeled appropriately
• Make sure that quantity and items physically sent in a shipment are same as those communicated while creating the shipment
• LTL/FT shipments: make sure your carrier has secured a dock appointment
• Be prepared to send items to different fulfilment centres

Remember with FBA:

• We will ship most items until very shortly before Christmas.
• We could help handle your larger volumes during this key peak period.
• Many late purchasing customers trust Amazon to deliver by Christmas Eve and will therefore place a last minute order.
